These are exciting and interesting  times.  After many years of neglect, where youth homelessness has been the invisible face of homelessness, and we are encouraged as all tiers of Government are now finally  talking about ending youth homelessness. YAA is working hard to advocate for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, to get the messages out there to Government and to the general public, while also supporting the sector to be ready for the challenges and changes which are ahead, towards providing support for young people in NSW."

"I have been working in the youth sector for over 5 years in a range of roles and capacities, It is a great pleasure to be working for young homeless people at a time when it is high on the government agenda and an issue being reinvigorated and disscussed internationally. There is a mood now that we can "end" homelessness. Therefore I hope through a range of policy and project work I can contribute to a broader movement towards achieving positive outcomes for young people.

"Brandon has been working with young people since he was 16, and is highly
interested in the sexual health and development of adolescents. His
experience comes from working in a peer education program in the Eastern
Suburbs, and then moving into schools based programs. His passion lies in
dispelling myths about sexual health in a way that is fun and engaging from
young people, and looks forward to spreading the word about safe sex at a
service near you."
