Our Vision
YAA intends that all young people are supported appropriately within their family and/or the wider community to achieve their fullest potential, and lead independent lives as adults, with the capacity to participate fully in society.
Our Purpose
To work towards eliminating the risk and impact of homelessness for young people by:
- Raising awareness of youth housing and homelessness issues and;
- Influencing government and sectorial policy and practice utilising strategies such as structural /systemic advocacy, action research, collaboration, capacity building, advocacy and campaigning.
