Youth Emergency Accommodation Line (YEAL)

YEAL provides a simple & reliable way for young people to connect with suitable accommodation services across NSW. YEAL provides a recorded message of current emergency and semi supported vacancies in NSW and provides support to individuals to access suitable housing or support services as required. Young people have the option of remaining anonymous through the message service or of receiving personalised support via contact with the YEAL worker.

An online register of vacancies is provided and updated daily on weekdays and the message service is available 24/7.

The YEAL project also produces a comprehensive directory of youth accommodation and associated support services for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness in NSW. Copies of the directory can be purchased online via the YEAL link.
