Advocacy update: proposed transfer of SHS to Housing NSW
Thanks to everyone who has sent through letters asking Mr. Jim Moore to halt the transfer of SHS to Housing NSW until the Government consults with the sector. We've seen a great response and with thanks to the efforts by members of the Women's Refuge Movement, the transfer has been postponed until at least the end of April. This postponement means we need to get our voices heard loud and clear that the transfer should not occur until the sector has more information and is given the opportunity to meaningfully consult on the change.
