Our strategic plan draws together the priorities identified by our members into four Key Priorities. These four priorities will guide the work of Yfoundations over the next 3 years.
They are as follows:
- Policy and Practice : Ensure that public policy and practice reflects and promotes good health and wellbeing, safety and social and economic inclusion for all young people in Australia;
- Supply, Access and Equity : Ensure that young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness have equitable access to an appropriate spectrum of housing, support and to pathways out of homelessness as required;
- Representation : Ensure that young people and services that work with young people have a voice in the development of public policy and practice in regards to youth homelessness by increasing membership, supporter base and youth and public participation; and
- Sustainability : Ensure a sustainable resource base and governance model for Yfoundations to enhance opportunities and outcomes.
